Tahlequah Campus – Lead Program Coordinator
The Northeastern State University College of Education seeks a full-time Lead Program Coordinator for the grant-funded RiverHawk Center for Teacher Excellence (RCTE Project) on the Tahlequah campus. The RCTE Project will provide supplemental efforts to existing programs with the objective of increasing and retaining the number of well-prepared teachers from diverse backgrounds and/or bilingual/multilingual.
Responsibilities of the position entails but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Minimum 3 years teaching experience.
Required Experience

Responsibilities of the position entails but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and students regarding RCTE services
- Provide academic coaching and support to teacher candidates
- Assist participants in developing manageable academic and professional plans
- Provide connections to tutoring services, study groups, and test preparation resources
- Direct participants to financial assistance resources and scholarship opportunities
- Coordinate and facilitate workshops, study sessions, and program events
- Lead recruitment and outreach initiatives, including occasional travel to recruitment events
- Track and maintain program data and participant engagement
- Maintain communication with stakeholders and promote program services
- Occasionally travel between campuses
- Hours are Monday thru Friday from 8am–5pm on the Tahlequah campus. Occasional weekends may be required
- Salary: $23,100 (temporary position from July 1 – December 31, 2026 due to grant funding)

- Must be proficient in using Windows, Microsoft Office, and specialized database software
