Description of Position
The Department of History at Northeastern State University seeks a part-time faculty member
with a Ph.D. in History who can teach lower-level American history surveys (Hist 1483 and
1493) along with upper-division history courses. Faculty teaching may involve distance-based
courses, including hybrid and fully online classes.
Educational requirements:
- Minimum of Ph.D. degree in History
Preferred Experience requirements:
- College History teaching preferred
- Ability to integrate technology and digital resources into the classroom preferred
- Experience teaching Public History preferred
