Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tahlequah, OK, for a Defensive Line Coach. The primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, and conducting defensive line practices, and developing game strategies aligned with team objectives. The coach will mentor and guide student-athletes on and off the field, promoting their athletic, academic, and personal development. Additional duties involve scouting opponents, analyzing player performance, and contributing to team recruitment efforts.
Qualifications
- Coaching and leadership skills, including experience in coaching football at the collegiate or high school level
- Knowledge of defensive football techniques, strategies, and game planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes
- Ability to analyze game footage and develop data-informed strategies
- Commitment to fostering student success academically, athletically, and personally
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields, with a preference for candidates with a master’s degree
- Understanding of NCAA regulations and compliance standards
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
