The Department of Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science and Physics at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), a Hispanic-serving Institution in Chicago, IL, invites applications for a full-time instructor of physics position beginning Summer 2026 or Fall 2026. The assignment being full-time is dependent on enrollments, department need, and is also subject to terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. A Masters in Science degree in physics or a closely related field is required, Ph.D. preferred. Candidates are expected to be able to teach on-site, have strong communication skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
