Position: Administrator (Full-Time or Part-Time)
We are seeking a qualified, dependable Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of the agency. This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring our agency meets Minnesota DHS compliance standards, supports staff, and maintains quality services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all agency operations and ensure compliance with MN Statute 245D and DHS guidelines
- Lead and support administrative staff and Designated Coordinator(s)
- Ensure timely completion of intakes, IAPPs, Support Plan Addendums, and annual reviews
- Monitor staff training, background checks, and professional qualifications
- Serve as the primary contact with DHS, case managers, and families for operational issues
- Review and respond to audits, correction orders, and documentation requests
- Maintain client and staff files and data systems according to 245D standards
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to agency staff and ensure service quality
Required Qualifications
- Must meet 245D Administrator requirements, including:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- OR Associate degree or diploma in human services with 3 years of experience, at least 1 of which includes management or supervision in HCBS
- Working knowledge of Minnesota 245D licensing and HCBS programs
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
- Must pass a DHS background study
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with DHS NetStudy 2.0, CSSP planning, and HCBS billing
- Familiarity with service types: Individualized Home Supports, Respite Care, Night Supervision
- Strong communication skills when working with case managers, county staff, and families
- Bilingual skills are a plus
