Caregiver

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• provide compassionate daily care tailored to each client’s individual needs
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping duties
• Monitor client safety and well-being while following all care and safety procedures
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond appropriately in emergency situations

Experience

• Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred
• Experience working with elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, or special needs is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional attitude
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Ability to adapt to individual care needs and routines
