Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care in our Obstetrics unit. The RN will be responsible for labor and delivery, as well as mother-baby care, newborn nursery, and couplet care. This position also includes care for gynecology surgery patients and may involve floating to Med/Surg if necessary.

This position may experience shift cancellations, with a maximum of one shift every other week. The RN will work alongside an LPN who will assist with patient support tasks, but not with direct patient care tasks such as labor or triage.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care in our Obstetrics unit. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for laboring patients, including triage and assessments.
- Support the mother and newborn through couplet care and nursery duties.
- Perform initial assessments and validate findings with the LPN in a collaborative manner.
- Assist with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) evaluations and documentation.
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with the Transfer Coordinator when additional assistance is required.
- Participate in patient education and support during the perinatal period.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required.
- Previous experience in Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, or Mother-Baby care preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.
- Flexibility to float to Med/Surg and assist with various nursing tasks as needed.
