What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Northeastern Counseling Center?
Northeastern Counseling Center has a full-time opening for a Mental Health Case Manager in our Roosevelt office. This position is part of a team that works directly with clients to help them access essential medical, social, educational, and other supportive services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide face-to-face skills development services to clients to help improve daily living and life skills
- Assist clients with medication compliance
- Help reduce symptoms that interfere with everyday functioning
- Participate in our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) which involves a rotating swing shift schedule, including working occasional weekends and holidays
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Screening
- College coursework in social work, psychology, health education, community health/services, or nursing is preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to advise and educate others effectively
- Must be at least 21 years of age
