County Express Driver -PT

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for clients within and outside the Northeastern Counties.
• Coordinate with dispatch centers, other drivers, supervisors, and the central office to manage passenger logistics efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members using a two-way radio system.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, including time logs and passenger details.
• Operate vehicle lifts and secure passengers with straps when necessary.
• Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Proven excellent driving skills.
• Strong customer service abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of safety rules and traffic laws.
• Capability to drive in extreme weather conditions and diverse environments, including rural and urban areas.
• Physical ability to routinely lift between 20 lbs. 50 lbs.
• Possession of a valid drivers license.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Offered compensation: $16/hr - $16.50/hr
