What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) position at Northeast Wellness + Sweatworks Studios?
NE Wellness is a holistic wellness clinic located in downtown Bismarck offering therapeutic bodywork, acupuncture, infrared sauna therapy, red light therapy, and recovery services. We are looking to add a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to our growing team.
Our clinic focuses on whole-body wellness and therapeutic care, providing therapists with a supportive environment and strong opportunities to build and maintain a consistent client base.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic massage services tailored to each client’s individual needs
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and pain management approaches
- Maintain accurate SOAP notes and treatment documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
- Deliver excellent customer service and client care
- Learn and operate the clinic POS/booking system for checking clients in/out, reviewing schedules, and managing appointments
- Stay informed on massage therapy practices, anatomy, and wellness techniques
Preferred Modalities
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Therapeutic Massage
- Deep Tissue
- Lymphatic Drainage
- Myofascial Release
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Cupping
- Hot Stone
- Thai Massage
- Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
- Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Schedule
- Must be available weekdays and weekends
- Flexible scheduling – set your own hours based on treatment room availability
Requirements
- Licensed Massage Therapist in North Dakota
- CPR Certified
- 1 year experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Professional references required
Compensation
- $40–$85 per session tips depending on experience
- 100% of tips go directly to the therapist
