The job of Center for Future Pathways coordinator - YouthBuild lead is done for the purpose of supporting the program director by coordinating daily operations, maintaining program data and tracking, facilitating internal communication among staff to ensure alignment across YouthBuild, AmeriCorps, and Open Doors programming, and assisting in grant compliance and reporting efforts. This position ensures operational efficiency across education, construction, placement, leadership, and case management functions, contributing to meeting U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) grant outcomes under the leadership of the program director.
Responsibilities include working under limited supervision following standardized practices and methods, leading, guiding, and coordinating others, and operating within a defined budget. Utilization of some resources from other work units is often required to perform the job's functions. There is continual opportunity to impact the agency’s services.
Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 40% sitting, 30% walking, and 30% standing. The job is performed in a generally hazard-free environment.
Experience
Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Minimum of two years of experience providing administrative, program coordination, or workforce development support. Experience working on federal grant-funded programs for youth/young adults in alternative/at-risk programs within scope of work and experience with GED preparation is highly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, education, workforce development, or a related field required. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Hold and maintain a valid driver license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance

- Coordinates and oversees daily operations across YouthBuild components (education, construction, case management, placement, leadership) and collaborates with Center for Future Pathways staff for the purpose of supporting alignment across YouthBuild, AmeriCorps, and Open Doors programming.
- Manages data tracking using the GPMS system for the purpose of ensuring timely and accurate entry of participant information, outcomes, and follow-up data.
- Coordinates referrals to internal and external services in collaboration with the case manager and placement specialist for the purpose of supporting student success.
- Assists the program director with preparing quarterly reports, tracking progress toward grant goals, and meeting data reporting deadlines for the purpose of ensuring grant compliance.
- Participates in weekly team meetings, sharing progress updates on credential attainment, GED completion, employment placement, and participant support needs for the purpose of sharing information and supporting communication among parties.
- Facilitates follow-up services post-program with the program director, case manager, and placement specialist for the purpose of ensuring member outcomes are achieved and documented.
- Monitors member engagement and assists with proactive strategies for the purpose of maintaining attendance, participation, and goal achievement across program elements.
- Prepares administrative documentation required for audits, site monitoring, and federal reporting in coordination with the program director and compliance analyst.
- Collaborates with the program director in updating program improvement plans based on outcome data, staff feedback, and participant performance.
- Provides general support for program marketing, recruitment events, community partnership activities, and cohort start-up processes.
- Facilitates regular check-ins with program staff and service teams for the purpose of supporting member engagement, addressing challenges, and improving service delivery.
- Schedules and facilitates monthly service projects (for both construction and community development purposes) in collaboration with staff teams.
- Develops and maintains partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders for the purpose of enhancing participant experiences and opportunities.
- Fosters a strong culture of civic engagement, leadership development, and teamwork among YouthBuild members by collaborating on leadership programming.
- Participates and represents NEWESD 101 in a variety of meetings and travels locally and statewide (e.g., conferences, trainings, partner events) for the purpose of gathering and conveying information.
- Prepares a variety of written materials (e.g., case notes, statistical reports, narrative reports, pre/post follow-up reports) for documenting activities, providing written references, and conveying program information.
- Enters data into both written and electronic systems for the purpose of tracking participant progress, outcomes, and follow-up requirements.
- Transports members/students in NEWESD 101 vehicles as needed for the purpose of supporting program activities and service learning events.
- Reports immediately to agency supervisor or assistant superintendent any incident that poses a threat to the safety, security, or integrity of youth, staff, or partner and follows up with a written incident report for the purpose of maintaining a safe and secure environment.
