Position Summary
We’re looking for a Field Engineer with a strong foundation in construction and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will support field operations on a variety of projects — including structural steel, building, and infrastructure work — ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure work meets project requirements.
- Support daily field operations and coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
- Perform field layout, measurements, and verification for accuracy and compliance.
- Track daily activities, quantities, and materials to support reporting and billing.
- Assist with sequencing work such as steel erection, concrete, and general construction.
- Help prepare and review RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings.
- Verify that materials and installations meet quality and safety standards.
- Communicate with engineers, detailers, and fabricators to align drawings with field conditions.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate field documentation.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies on the jobsite.
Qualifications
- 1 years in the construction industry
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills to document project activities, analyze data, and prepare reports
