Experienced Security Training ManagerNortheast security is seeking a Security Training Manager for one of our premiere Accounts in Boston Seaport and surrounding areas.Salary Range:$75,000-80,000Schedule:Typical Security Training Manager Schedule is Mon-Fri first shift, but it does vary by location and training need.**Must be available to be on call 24/7. Work schedule may include evenings or night shifts and weekends/holidays as determined and scheduled annually** Must be able to pass a background financial check with no more than $2,500 in collections along with passing a criminal background check and previous employer check.Responsibilities and Requirements include but are not limited to:Must be available all hours for training of new and existing employees.Former security experience of three years or more in a supervisory or management capacity or equivalent law enforcement or Military background is required.Certification as a instructor in CPT/AED/First aid, and other similar trainings highly preferred.Strong Knowledge of security practices, Emergency response procedures, and relevant regulations. Ensure that trained and qualified security personnel properly staff all posts.Ensure that all security personnel are aware of and perform their duties in full compliance with the facility security operations procedures and location policies, procedures and regulations.Outstanding Verbal and Written Communication skills are required.Maintain effective communications with all assigned security personnel.Ability to train and coach others and to effectively enforce security standards and company policies.Valid Driver's License is required.Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metricsAnalyze training data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustmentsExpert in computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), Microsoft Internet Explorer, and SLMS Security web-based services (online training and employee self-service)Knowledge of security systems including but not limited to access control (C-Cure 9000) and video surveillance systemsCounsel, advise, motivate, and (when necessary) provide discipline and positive reinforcement to personnel assigned to the location.Work with management in the development and implementation of sound employee relations, development, and retention programs for the location.Ensure that assigned security personnel are kept up-to date on any modifications to procedures, policies, or regulations. Must be available to cover various posts during the assigned shift.
