Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Jacksonville, FL. The Clinical Research Assistant will support the setup, execution, and documentation of clinical research studies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: obtaining medical records, copying/printing, compiling patient charts, sending/receiving faxes, scheduling outside exams (ie: eye examinations, echocardiograms), entering data in case report forms, obtaining signatures, printing and filing lab results. Facilitates phlebotomy and specimen processing: Collaborates with CRC to prepare upcoming laboratory kits, collects and processes patient specimens, orders lab kits/supplies, maintains laboratory inventory and expiration dates, and properly ships frozen specimens.
Qualifications
- Maintains phlebotomy certification, GCP training, and IATA training
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to build rapport with participants and collaborate with team members effectively.
- Solid understanding of Medical Terminology and its applications in clinical research.
- Proficiency in Research methodologies and the ability to assist in data collection and analysis.
- Basic Laboratory Skills and familiarity with lab safety protocols and practices.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills to manage documentation and adhere to study protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site setting and be part of a collaborative team environment.
