Essential Responsibilities
Working closely with the Director of Education and the Nurse Manager, the Unit Educator identifies learning needs, implements education programs and evaluates outcomes to ensure competency. He/she serves as a mentor/consultant to staff in the utilization of the nursing process. The Unit Educator is a role model to staff in practice/process improvements.
Qualifications
BSN degree preferred.
Current NH license as a professional registered nurse required.
Three to five years of experience in nursing and currently working full time at NRHN .
Trained and recertified every two years in CPR. CPR instructor obtained within one year of employment.
