Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant based in Drums, Hazleton PA. The PRN Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with licensed physical therapists and other physical therapy assistants to assist in carrying out treatment plans, deliver hands-on care to patients, and document patient progress. Responsibilities include supporting rehabilitation exercises, providing home care instructions, and ensuring a safe and effective therapy environment. The role may also involve patient education, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and monitoring patient responses to therapy.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Patient Care
- Understanding of Medicine principles related to physical therapy treatment
- Experience in delivering Home Care and ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Pennsylvania
- Reliable and detail-oriented with the ability to follow treatment plans accurately
- CPR certification and ability to respond to patient emergencies
