Northeast Philadelphia pediatric dental office looking for full-time Dental Assistant to join our wonderful team. 5-day work week, with 1 evening per week. No weekends.
We are a privately owned solo doctor practice with tight knit team that has been serving the community for over 35 years. The ideal candidate is hard working, a team player, detail-oriented, reliable, enjoys working with children and other people, and able to communicate well with both patients and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
- Chairside dental assisting
- Sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Setting up and breaking down rooms
- Taking x-rays and dental impressions
- Coordinating patient care with front desk
- Maintaining and keeping clinical records in order
- Unboxing materials, verifying orders and stocking supplies
Required qualifications:
- Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
- Experience as a dental assistant or graduate of a dental assisting program
- Radiology certification
- CPR certification
Preferred qualifications:
- Working knowledge of dental management software
- Speaking a foreign language is helpful
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
