What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Representative position at Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance?
Mobility Bone & Joint Institute (MBJI), a division of Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance, is seeking Patient Service Representatives to join our growing team.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients—managing inbound and outbound calls, welcoming patients to the practice, and helping to identify and address their healthcare needs. You will be responsible for accurately registering patients in our EMR (Athena) to ensure efficient scheduling and a seamless visit experience. Additional responsibilities include patient check-in, collecting copays and outstanding balances, managing referrals, and supporting other front desk operations as needed.
Experience with Athena EMR and bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) are a plus.
MBJI is a thriving, independent, multi-specialty practice with more than 20 providers specializing in orthopedics, spine, rheumatology, interventional pain management, and podiatry. We have locations in Andover and Haverhill, MA, as well as Salem, NH. Candidates must be willing to travel between locations as needed.
