Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems using hand tools and power tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess radon levels and determine appropriate mitigation strategies
- Perform cleaning tasks at the conclusion of jobs
- Utilize construction skills to modify or install ventilation systems, piping, or other components involved in radon reduction efforts
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including system specifications, inspection reports, and safety records
Qualifications
- Prior experience in radon mitigation system installation is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques required for system installation and repairs
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction work is required.
- Ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in radon mitigation and restoration processes
- The ability to climb ladders up to approximately 25 feet is required.
- The ability to carry equipment weighing as much as 50lbs is required
- A valid State of Ohio Drivers license is required.
