What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Triage - Northeast Pediatrics position at Northeast Missouri Health Council?
We are seeking a
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse - Triage
to join our team!
The qualified candidate must be able to work in a high volume clinic. The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have excellent communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Triage position is administrative and duties include: answer patient calls, triage patients for appointments, type physician letters, maintain referral and script logs, chart sign-off, patient notifications and other clinic functions as needed to maintain a smooth office flow. The chosen candidate must have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills and be able to work independently, as well as with others. Good computer skills a must. Experience working with EMR preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri.
