What You'll Do:
As a Behavior Intervention Coach, you'll partner with teachers, families, and support staff to promote positive behaviors and social-emotional development for children. In this role, you will:
- Provide coaching and consultation to teachers on behavior support strategies.
- Observe children and classrooms to identify behavioral and social-emotional needs.
- Collaborate with families and staff to develop and implement behavior support plans.
- Support referrals and connections to additional services when needed.
- Deliver training and resources to strengthen classroom behavior management practices.
- Monitor progress and provide follow-up coaching to support successful outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings to coordinate services.

What We'll Love About You:
- Bachelors Degree in mental health or social work field and two (2) years experience in serving young children and their families OR Bachelor's Degree with a ZA endorsement or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood - General and Special Education ZS endorsement or Bachelor's degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education (major) with specialization in preschool teaching is required.
- Masters Degree in mental health or social work field with one year experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families is preferred.
- Licensed or certified in the field of psychiatry, psychology, family counseling, social work or mental health counseling including infant mental health is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Michigan driver license is required.
- Complete TPOT Reliability within one year of hire and maintain updated credential.
