What You’ll Do

As an ACT Nurse, you’ll serve as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, providing holistic care to individuals with serious mental illness, emotional disturbance, or developmental disabilities. Your role includes:

  • Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring health needs
  • Supporting individuals’ social, vocational, and community functioning
  • Delivering care in the least restrictive environments
  • Providing education, crisis intervention, and family support
  • Participating in the ACT Program’s after-hours on-call rotation
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners
  • Supporting individuals with co-occurring disorders through IDDT model fidelity
  • Participating in the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Team

What You Bring

  • RN degree from an accredited institution with mental health coursework
  • Current Michigan RN license
  • At least 1 year of relevant mental health experience
  • Strong communication skills and functional computer literacy
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use is valued
