As a RN Nurse at NKHS you will be part of the Adult Outpatient Team, providing training, oversight, consultation, nursing care, treatment planning and development to individuals served by the AO team. An opportunity for either a new RN or seasoned professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
The registered nurse (RN) works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialized care, assessment, and education to patients with mental health disorders in an outpatient setting.
- Acquire vital signs, urine drug screens, and ensure that required documentation is completed and filed as needed.
- Participate in the Individual Plan of Care/ Treatment Plan.
- Provide nursing consultation, assistance, training and delegation of medication administration procedures to staff of Adult Outpatient.
- Educate and counsel clients, family members, and primary care providers.
- Be responsible for medication refills, prior authorizations, lab requisitions, and coordination of care across disciplines.
- Interface with a wide range of medical and professional clinicians in hospital/clinic settings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Practical Nurse in Vermont, RN preferred.
- Prefer at least three years’ experience working in a mental health setting.
- Ability to function independently with good critical thinking skills.

- Competitive Salary: $59,500-$80,500/year.
