What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weatherization Intake Worker position at Northeast Kentucky Community Action Agency?
Northeast KY Community Action Agency is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Weatherization Intake Worker
Location: Northeast office (Carter County) but mostly will travel to Boyd, Greenup and Lawrence Counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as the first point of contact for clients applying for Weatherization
- Verifying eligibility, documents information and processing through our EmpowOR system
- Maintain accurate and confidential client files
- Assist clients with completing necessary forms to apply for Weatherization
- Participates in team meetings, staff meetings and any trainings needed for Weatherization
- Any other Weatherization duties as needed
QuaIifications
- High school diploma
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Willing to travel to the outreach offices within our 5 counties served
- Must be self-motivated and organized
- Strong written skills
- Strong communication skills are critical for making clients feel comfortable and heard
- Proficient with office equipment and computer system
