Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner located in Dedham, MA, with flexibility for remote work. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing psychiatric care to clients. Responsibilities also include prescribing appropriate medications, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and monitoring patient progress to ensure effective care. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate mental health care in both in-office and remote settings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mental Health Nursing and Nursing practices
- Experience working as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in mental health or related fields
- Expertise in delivering personalized care in Mental Health Care and Psychiatric Care environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and clients
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent, with certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Massachusetts
- Familiarity with telehealth technologies is a plus
- Ability to multitask efficiently while providing patient-centered, empathetic care
