Position Title: Parts Clerk
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Plant Engineer
Responsibility: To order parts
Check parts ordering log
Use Somax to purchase items
Issur purchase orders---must be priced first
If it's signed, it's ok to order or put out for quote
Use quotes for competitive pricing
Maintain spreadsheet to show pricing has been checked
Take receiving tickets and check them off as received in Somax
Take receiving tickets to front office and place in the "receiving tickets" book
Maintain a copy of the Oxidizer and freezer charts
Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time, and in hot environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Other duties as given.
