Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including dining areas and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices, food safety guidelines, and retail math is beneficial.
