Northeast Florida Endocrine and Diabetes Associates is seeking a dependable and organized Clerical Float to support our Revenue Cycle Department.
This position will assist with daily billing and clerical responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks, work accurately, and communicate professionally with patients, insurance carriers, and staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer inbound billing calls and assist patients with general account questions
- Mail primary and secondary insurance claims
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately
- Complete hospital and office charge entry
- Review information for accuracy before entering charges
- Assist with returned mail and insurance correspondence
- Assist other areas of the Revenue Cycle Department as needed
- Complete additional duties and special projects assigned by management
- Insurance verification
- Scheduling appointments
Qualifications
- Previous medical office, billing, payment posting, or charge entry experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance claims and medical terminology is helpful
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to department needs
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
Schedule
- Full time
- Monday through Friday
Experience
- Medical office or revenue cycle experience: Preferred
- Customer service or inbound call experience: Preferred
- Payment posting or charge entry experience: Preferred

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
