Regional Technician

Job description

We are seeking a reliable Field Service Technician to service and maintain commercial fitness equipment across multiple locations in the Portland market. This role is ideal for a self-motivated technician who takes pride in quality work, professionalism, and long-term client relationships.

You will be the primary technician for assigned locations and will work directly with our operations team for scheduling, parts, and support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial fitness equipment, including:
• • Treadmills
  • Rowers
  • Bikes
  • Strength equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance visits on a recurring schedule
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Accurately document work completed, parts used, and follow-up needs
• Communicate clearly with studio managers and internal operations staff
• Maintain tools, vehicle, and a professional on-site presence

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Basic smartphone / app usage for work orders
• Professional, respectful communication style

Preferred

• Experience as a 1099 contractor
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs
