Order Puller - Chain Link Fence Materials

Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Order Puller to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for accurately pulling and preparing customer orders consisting of chain link fabric, pipe, and related fencing materials. The position requires operating a forklift and performing manual labor in an outdoor and warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull and stage orders for chain link fence materials including:
• Chain link fabric rolls
• Galvanized or vinyl-coated pipe
• Fittings and other fence hardware
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Ensure all pulled materials match work orders and shipping documents
• Inspect materials for quality and report damaged or missing items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times
• Perform other general warehouse or yard duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience required (certification preferred or will train)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic reading and math skills to read work orders and measure materials
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

• Outdoor and indoor warehouse/yard environment
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Physical role requiring bending, lifting, standing, and walking throughout the shift

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Overtime may be required during peak seasons

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
