The Intake Coordinator manages all aspects of the registration and admissions process for Northeast Family Services in NH. They are responsible for answering incoming calls, gathering referral information, verifying insurance coverage, and scheduling clients’ appointments.
This position requires previous experience doing intake in a mental health setting. This position will entail speaking with outpatients directly.

Qualifications/Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working on the administrative side of mental/behavioral health-required
- Experience verifying insurance benefits -required
- Experience obtaining/processing authorizations -required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in patient intake and scheduling
- Proficient computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Experience working with and helping clients with co-occurring disorders
- Ability to keep client and company confidences
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong time management and organizational skills
