Seeking Professional Driver / Operator for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Ambulette / Taxi Drivers in Clinton, Essex & Franklin Counties

Job Summary:
We provide exceptional NEMT services throughout Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Warren and St. Lawrence Counties. You will drive our company owned passenger van and transport clients to-and-from medical appointments in a safe and reliable manner. On a scheduled basis, you will successfully perform picking up all clients on time and delivering them to their destinations safely. Please note all applicants are subject to a background check and drug test. Ambulette drivers must pass a DOT physical and NYS 19-A requirements in addition to possessing a NYS CDL-C license with passenger endorsement and have a clean driving record.
Job Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.
- Must be proficient with virtual communications (cell phone messaging, online calendars, time clock applications, and mobile GPS).
- Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to clients, coworkers and the general public.
- Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Assist clients as needed to safely enter and exit the vehicle and to and from their destinations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Benefits: Employer pays up to 50% Excellus Individual Gold Plan, and 100% of dental and vision insurance costs for employees working 20 hours or more a week.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- This position is on the road 100% of the time, however, there are no overnight trips at this time. You will always return home at the end of a shift.
