The purpose of this position is to have an individual who can assist teachers in the delivery of instruction to students.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants should forward cover letter, resume as well as three current letters of recommendation.

  Education, Training and Experience:

1. High school diploma, two years of higher education preferred.
2. Demonstrated ability to work with students, under the direction of the teacher.

  Knowledge Required:

1.   Ability to follow directions effectively.
2.   Familiarity with student instructional and disciplinary procedures.

Abilities Required:

1. Ability to implement assigned tasks and activities.
2. Diligence in monitoring students’ safety and security.
3. Ability to support and reinforce the teacher’s expectations for students.

Skills Required:

1. Able to follow directions promptly and effectively.
2. Able to relate to students as a caring adult.
3. Able to work with students on academic tasks assigned by the teacher.

Salary:    As per the WEA contract.
