- Managerial work directing a Elementary School staff of employees engaged in the preparation and service of a variety of meals in a school cafeteria.
- Supervises the training of new personnel.
- Plans, assigns, supervises and inspects the work of subordinates through daily work and cleaning schedules.
- Collaborates with the Food Service Director in planning the monthly menu.
- Responsible for ordering and receiving all food and supplies.
- Supervises and participates in the preparation, cooking and service of a wide variety of food items and a la carte offerings.
- Supervises care and use of equipment.
- Follows established procedures to ensure standards of cleanliness, health and safety.
- Responsible for daily cash receipts.
- Responsible for keeping accurate food production, inventory, meal count and financial records.
- Delivers a yearly evaluation to all staff with assistance from the Food Service Director.
- Fulfills all Catering requests from Central Office during the school days
- Works 8 hour day
- Eligible to participate in professional development classes when offered.
Salary: As per the Food Services contract.
