General Description
Instructor positions in the Allied Health Department teaching content related to delivering state-approved Peer Support Core Curriculum training that prepares participants to meet Nebraska Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) certification requirements. This position emphasizes adult learning, lived experience, recovery-oriented practices, ethics, and skill development aligned with Nebraska DHHS Division of Behavioral Health and IC&RC standards. .
Qualifications: Education
Currently hold Nebraska Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) in good standing.
Qualification:Experience
Minimum one (1) year of lived recovery experience with demonstrated success in recovery.
Prior experience as a peer support specialist in behavioral health, substance use, co-occurring, or family support settings.
Experience facilitating adult learning, training, education, or group instruction

Qualification:Skills
Basic-level Certification in the content area.
