Northeast Colorado Family Medicine Associates is seeking a motivated Practice Administrator to lead the operations of our independent, provider-owned primary care practice in Sterling, Colorado. This is a high-autonomy leadership role working directly with the ownership group to support a collaborative team delivering high-quality, community-focused healthcare to rural northeastern Colorado.

Practice OverviewInnovative, provider-owned family medicine practice emphasizing value-based care contracts with most payers
• 5 providers (physicians and advanced practice clinicians)
• 10 clinical and administrative staff
• Broad-spectrum family medicine with obstetrics

Position OverviewThe Practice Administrator provides leadership for operational and administrative functions of the clinic and works directly with the ownership group to guide practice strategy, staff management, and financial oversight. The administrator supervises clinic operations with support from a nurse clinical coordinator, a front desk manager, and a finance coordinator.
Key ResponsibilitiesPractice Operations
• Oversee daily operations of the medical practice
• Ensure efficient clinic workflows and patient flow
• Manage vendor relationships and facility operations
• Coordinate operational improvements
Leadership & Staff Development
• Supervise administrative and clinical support staff
• Work with ownership group on hiring and performance reviews
• Promote a positive workplace culture
Financial Oversight
• Review financial reports and practice performance metrics
• Oversee payroll processes (processed by finance staff)
• Monitor revenue cycle performance with billing company
Revenue Cycle & Payer Relations
• Liaison with Medicaid, commercial insurers, ACO partners and value-based contracts
• Monitor contract performance and payer metrics
Compliance & Credentialing
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain credentialing and licensure tracking
Strategic Initiatives
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning
• Coordinate grant and research initiatives
QualificationsPreferred:
• Experience in clinic management, healthcare administration, or operational leadership
• Experience supervising staff or managing teams
• Familiarity with healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, or payer relations
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field

Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $75,000 – $85,000 depending on experience
