RN Unit Manager
Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY) specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Respiratory and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and Neurobehavioral Disorders.
Job Summary: Provides supervision, management, support and leadership for nursing personnel to perform total quality patient care. Coordinates the nursing staff and assists in the accomplishment of nursing tasks in compliance with the established philosophies, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and the facility. Remains knowledgeable of and enforces the regulations and standards required by Medicare, Medicaid, Federal, State and local governments.
Qualifications:
- Experienced registered professional nurse with current NYS license
- Experienced in leadership, supervision, or teaching
- Able to make decisions with good nursing judgment and handle emergencies
- Maintains excellent patient assessment skill
- Maintain current BLS
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Med Surg and LTC experience required
- Ability to successfully multitask in a fast paced environment
