Job Summary
Join the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury, a one-of-a-kind state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake Katrine, New York, as we seek a compassionate and skilled Rehab Aide to support our patients in their journey towards recovery and independence. Our 39-acre campus offers a unique and vibrant environment, designed to promote cognitive, physical, and social skills. As a Rehab Aide, you will play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team, providing daily support and care to our patients.
Responsibilities
Perform a range of clerical tasks, including data entry, attendance recording, and supply management
Support physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions, including ROM exercises, ambulation, and other functional programs
Transport patients to and from therapy sessions
Assist the rehab department with various tasks and programs as needed
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and supplies
Perform office duties, such as answering phones and communicating with other departments
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
CNA Certification (paid training available!)
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Full-time, Monday-Friday, day shifts
Dependable, adaptable to change, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
