Job Description and Requirements:
The Information Technology (IT) Manager supports our mission to inspire and empower building professionals, designers and homeowners by ensuring all customers and employees can easily access our website, account management and order documents wherever they do business. Maintaining the reliability, security and efficiency of the company’s technology infrastructure enables a seamless connection between our sales consultants, operations, the accounting team and clients so that Northeast LLC can deliver unmatched customer service and be the first choice in the region for premium, customized, building solutions and home products. This position provides technical support and guidance to employees and works with service providers as needed. Other responsibilities may be assigned and additional training provided over time. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities specific to the Information Technology (IT) Manager:
Infrastructure & Systems Management Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain company hardware including servers, workstations, mobile devices, printers, and network equipment. Maintain accurate records of IT assets including unique identifiers (i.e. mac address, serial number), warranties, and service agreements. Maintain an infrastructure lifecycle plan.
· Ensure all company software systems are properly installed, configured, updated, and properly licensed. Maintain accurate schedules of renewals, fees and planned updates.
· Coordinate and communicate system upgrades, patch management, and scheduled maintenance for all company technology platforms.
· Manage company website and intranet infrastructure. Ensure content updates are completed accurately and in a timely manner based on the marketing update schedule, product updates and other web-based company communication. Monitor website performance, uptime, and security.
· Work with third-party vendors or developers as needed to maintain and improve website functionality.
· Manage network infrastructure including internet connectivity, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN access. Monitor system performance and reliability to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation.
· Manage network drive file storage organization and maintain strict user access restrictions to files and folders to ensure required data confidentiality. Ensure regular system backups are completed and tested to protect company data and support disaster recovery.
Security Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain company cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect company systems, data, and financial information. This includes, but is not limited to, endpoint security, intrusion detection, antivirus software, and system monitoring.
· Monitor internet usage, password management, and data protection. Communicate any deviations from company policy to the HR Generalist and Chief Operating Officer. Recommend policy updates as needed based on changes to technology or the business operating environment.
· Monitor systems for potential vulnerabilities, security incidents, or unauthorized access. Respond to and resolve security incidents while coordinating with external vendors or specialists when required.
· Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failure, cyber incident, or data loss.
ERP Administration Responsibilities:
· Manage ERP user accounts and role-based security access levels.
· Assist with ERP configuration and improvements to workflow or operational efficiency.
· Support ERP integration with other systems including CRM, POS, inventory management, delivery software, vendor quoting, and reporting tools.
· Create and maintain role-based custom reporting using dashboards and email automation.
· Troubleshoot ERP system issues and coordinate with ERP support or third-party partners when escalation is required. Maintain ERP documentation, procedures, and user support materials.
Leadership & Support Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for company employees with clear and consistent helpdesk processes. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and user-access issues.
· Coordinate onboarding and offboarding technology access for employees with hiring managers.
· Manage relationships with IT service providers, software vendors, internet providers, and technology partners. Ensure vendor services and support agreements meet company needs and expectations.
· Assist in managing the annual technology budget including vendor contracts and licensing costs. Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, or security. Assist leadership with planning and budgeting for technology investments.
· Personally maintain strict confidentiality of all personnel, financial, customer, and operational data accessed through company systems and adhere to all company information security policies.

Responsibilities of every Manager:

· Execution of daily operational duties including Branch Opening & Closing Responsibilities, cash control responsibilities, product organization and store cleanliness.
· Champion a culture of safety and compliance. Ensure all employees adhere to all laws, OSHA standards, and company policies & procedures. Observe the team and immediately correct any unsafe behavior or unsafe conditions. Investigate, address, and mitigate the root causes of hazards or unsafe conditions. Report all issues regarding safety, waste, damage, equipment, accidents or customer concerns promptly to the COO of Northeast.
· Keep all machinery, equipment, and tools clean and in good working order for safe usage.
· Inform the COO of Northeast promptly of suspected inventory shortage.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Progressive prior experience managing business technology infrastructure, including ERP systems, networks, cybersecurity and user support - minimum 5 years.
· Experience supporting a multi-location network environment across different business units.
· Experience communicating with cross-functional teams across complex projects and workstreams.
· Holds self and others accountable to the required actions of each position.

· Experience working with the Epicor ERP and building material suppliers strongly preferred.
Pay: $68,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
