POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for (a) custom report writing, data integrity, data analysis, and business analytics to support the day-to-day management of Northeast Bank’s (the “Bank’s”) deposit raising, operations, customer support, compliance, and risk management functions; and (b) assisting with business process automation utilizing SharePoint and Jack Henry Enterprise Workflow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for (a) custom report writing, data integrity, data analysis, and business analytics to support the day-to-day management of Northeast Bank’s (the “Bank’s”) deposit raising, operations, customer support, compliance, and risk management functions; and (b) assisting with business process automation utilizing SharePoint and Jack Henry Enterprise Workflow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with end users to define, develop, and implement custom and standard reports; troubleshooting and streamlining reporting issues and processes; and leveraging tools to translate data into usable actionable information.
- Creates ad hoc report requests and datasets based on requests from end-users.
- Develops, implements, and documents data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of information being reported.
- Supports end-user training, testing, documentation, and roll-out of reports and end-user reporting tools.
- Participates in data and reporting design sessions to capture business requirements for data needs and report development.
- Prepares necessary documentation to ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures as it relates to information reporting and information security.
- Troubleshoots reports or business processes to resolve errors.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of the Bank’s global report writing infrastructure that supports the applications used for report writing.
- Assists in automating business processes based on business logic as provided through job shadowing and conversations with line of business end-users.
- Assists in managing projects and business initiatives (i.e., timelines, milestones, owner assignments, and cross-functional coordination).
- Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or computer science.
- Jack Henry Silverlake Core experience is preferred but not required.
- Advanced / expert skills utilizing Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to translate business questions / requirements into meaningful reports.
- Ability to construct reusable reports based on common reporting requests using available tools.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and outside vendors
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.
- Consistently operates a computer and other office machinery such as calculator, copy machine and printers.
- Climate controlled general office settings with moderate noise level.
- Must express or exchange ideas and meaning with co-workers, supervisors, customers and vendors.
