We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide leadership in coordinating and overseeing all healthcare services for individuals served within Northeast Arc�s Residential Division. The Director of Nursing ensures individuals served achieve their maximum level of health and wellness. The Director of Nursing supervises all Residential Nurse�s, provides Direct Case management as required and collaborates closely with Residential Division Director to ensure the needs of the division are met.

The approximate pay range for this role $110,000 - $125,000 annually.

Responsibilities
- Ensures nursing services provided meet the acute, episodic, and long-term care needs of individuals by designing, implementing, and evaluating service systems that promote high quality health care.
- Supervises the performance of nursing staff through direct observation, report reviews, supervision meetings, and collaboration with program directors s to ensure competency in practice. Assures the clinically complex evaluation and admission procedures are always followed.
- Oversees Nursing Department activities by setting performance guidelines and reviewing performance to ensure that adequate care coordination and services are being provided to the individuals.
- Collaborates with other supervisory and management personnel by meeting on a regular and as-needed basis to identify and resolve issues related to staff supervision, training, and individual service needs.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed and maintained by the State Board of Nursing in Massachusetts.
- Bachelor�s degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Minimum three years nursing experience including prior experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled adults is required.
- Prior supervisory experience is required.
- Extensive knowledge of MAP (medication administration program). Prior experience developing training and ensuring compliance with MAP.
- Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulation and guidelines that pertain to disabilities.
- Experienced leader with strong clinical skills.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office, electronic health records, etc.
- Valid driver�s license and reliable transportation.
