About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team with daily administrative and operational functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in onboarding, recruitment, employee records management, and HR compliance. The HR Intern will play a key role in ensuring a smooth employee experience from hire through ongoing employment while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting internal HR processes.
Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Assist with new hire onboarding processes, including preparing paperwork and orientation materials
- Ensure completion and proper filing of new hire documentation
- Support I-9 verification and employee documentation tracking
- Coordinate new hire communications and follow-ups
- Lead Weekly HR Orientations
HR Administration & File Management
- Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel files (digital and physical)
- Support employee data entry and updates in HR systems
- Assist with employment verification requests
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements
HR Support & Ticket Management
- Assist in responding to basic employee HR inquiries
- Support internal HR ticket tracking and resolution
- Escalate complex issues to HR leadership as needed
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Support
- Assist in building and maintaining passive candidate pipelines using Linkedin Recruiter for future hiring needs
- Support talent mapping and competitor research for hard-to-fill roles
- Participate in Linkedin sourcing and recruitment strategy training
General HR Support
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned
- Assist with audits and reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Duration of the internship: Intern must be able to commit to a four to five month internship.
Hours of Internship: Flexible shift (between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM), must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. All other duties based on business needs.
