What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Technician position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center?
Responsible for assisting with various types of surgeries in collaboration with the registered nurse as the direct supervisor. Assists the RN in implementing individualized nursing care to accommodate expected changes which can occur during the surgical procedure; assist in proper documentation; maintain appropriate sterile fields by preparing instruments, supples, and equipment needed for each surgical procedure.
High school diploma or GED required; prefer successful completion of an approved surgical technology program. Prefer previous related experience.
Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.
