RN-Multi Clinic Coord & Infection Preventionist

Responsible for coordinating clinic operations across multiple outpatient clinics while ensuring adherence to best practices in infection prevention and control. This position requires a licensed RN with leadership experience, clinic knowledge and a strong understanding of infection prevention protocols. The RN will act as a liaison between clinics to promote quality patient care, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Responsible for overall operations and functions of Infection Control program which includes infection control data collection and analysis; product/procedure evaluation; consultation about infection risks, prevention and control strategies; education directed at improving patient outcomes; and participation in research. Works in conjunction with Employee Health, Infection Control and Safety Committees. As part of Educational Services, participates in selected educational activities. Acts within framework of RMC and Educational Services philosophies and assures compliance with local, state and federal infection control regulations.

Clinical Coordination across Clinics

• Oversees day-to-day clinical workflows across multiple clinic sites.
• Standardize clinical practices and ensure consistent patient care delivery.
• Collaborate with providers, clinic managers and staff to optimize processes.
• Provide clinical guidance related to Infection Control & Prevention.
• Assist in mentoring and ongoing education for staff.
• Monitor and support performance improvement initiatives across clinics.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed.

Infection Prevention and Control

• Coordinates with team members, a hospital-wide infection control program.
• Maintains a nosocomial infection surveillance system.
• Provides consultative infection control services to patients, hospital staff and community.
• Supervises infection control educational activities for all hospital employees.
• Demonstrates professional judgment and behavior.
