What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN-Clinical Supervisor position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center?
Directs and supervises functions and activities in the hospital; implements and interprets policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff and the public. Performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed.
- Evaluates patient care/personnel performance and reports information.
- Coordinates unit staffing for designated shift.
- Provides support to nursing departments.
- Assumes responsibility as administrative representative when necessary.
- Obtains adequate supplies and personnel to provide patient care services.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served
Bachelor’s degree. Valid Alabama RN license.
Minimum 3 years of clinical and patient care experience in an acute care hospital and two years of supervisory and/or management experience preferred.
Current Alabama RN license. Current BLS certification or training available upon hire.
Acute care hospital experience required
