What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Secretary position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Health System?
Provides clerical support to the patient care area to ensure effective and efficient services are delivered. Handles phone calls and multiple demands; transcribes physician orders, maintains patient records, assists visitors, and responds to patient requests.
Must have a HS diploma or GED, clerical skills, data entry and medical terminology (required).
Prefer previous experience in a medical setting.
