What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Coordinator - RMCS Endoscopy position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Health System?
Responsible for the assignment and management of Endoscopy staff and patients and inventorys ensuring the delivery of individualized Endoscopy patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Work is performed in accordance with Patient Services Policies and Procedures and professional standards of practice. Assumes leadership responsibility daily.
Assesses the physical and psycho-social needs of patients.
Plans patient care utilizing nursing and medical diagnosis.
Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
Communicates and documents patient care activities, needs and assessments.
Manages Endoscopy staffing mix and unit flow.
Valid Alabama or MSL RN license.
Current Alabama RN license. Current BLS or training available upon hire.
ACLS training provided for areas administering moderation sedation.
