Description:
The Shift Lead helps lead team members by ensuring the day-to-day convenience store operations are completed by performing, assisting, and guiding. The Lead Associate is a vital member of our organization playing an essential role in ensuring a positive experience for customers and great work environment for team members. The self-motivated, service-orientated individual will be accountable for demonstrating Northdale’s culture of exceptional customer service and team orientated mindset.
Requirements:Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain high level of customer service.
- Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
- Resolve cash tills at the end of shift.
- Generate accurate till reports for each register.
- Manage and perform all check-out functions on a daily basis.
- Communicate clearly and openly with customers.
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact for customer service associates and customers when Assistant Manager and Store Manager are not present.
- Assist in performing, implementing, and enforcing established daily operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 6 months of retail experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to motivate employees.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and problem-solve.
