Northcrest Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a proud CCH Healthcare facility, is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Records & Central Supply Clerk to join our team.
In this dual-role position, you'll help ensure our residents receive exceptional care by maintaining accurate medical records and keeping our clinical departments stocked with the supplies they need every day. Essential Responsibilities
Medical Records
Maintain, organize, and manage resident medical records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Protect the confidentiality and security of resident information in compliance with HIPAA.
File, retrieve, archive, and maintain resident charts and documentation.
Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, physician orders, and medical record audits.
Coordinate medical records with hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers as needed.
Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and survey-ready.
Central Supply
Order, receive, stock, and distribute medical and office supplies throughout the facility.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate supply records.
Work with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing.
Organize and store supplies in accordance with infection control and regulatory standards.
Assist with inventory counts and identify opportunities to improve inventory management.
Maintain clean, organized storage areas and ensure supplies are readily available for resident care.
Qualifications
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with stocking supplies.
