Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Construction Working Foreman/Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This pivotal role involves managing daily site operations, supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to meet deadlines.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction drawings to guide on-site activities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards, implementing safety protocols across the site.
- Monitor quality control processes, conduct site inspections, and address any issues related to construction safety or workmanship.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and safety logs with precision.
- Oversee budget adherence by tracking costs, managing resources efficiently, and coordinating procurement activities.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management, supervision, and crew management in commercial projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics for accurate execution of work.
- Ability to manage project scheduling effectively with tools like Primavera P6 or other scheduling software.
- Excellent managerial communication skills for managing teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining morale.
- Experience with construction estimating, budgeting, quality control procedures, and contract management.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary.
